Muscle group: Quadriceps
Steps
Place a bench or box about 30ā45 cm high behind you and take the bar onto your upper back. Rest one foot on the bench and place the other firmly on the floor about 60ā90 cm ahead. Brace your abs and slowly descend by bending the front knee and hip. Stay balanced over the front foot without tipping onto your toes. Lower to a controlled depth, pause and stand. Switch legs.
